Vice President of Payer Sales

We’re seeking a Vice President of Payer Sales to add to our growing team. We’ve recently taken a new core technology product to market, selling to payers and providers. We expect to keep growing over the course of the next 12 months and this position is an essential part of this next phase of the company’s development.

VP of Payer Sales Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, develop and manage relationships across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Attend conferences and conduct presentations to project teams, stakeholders and senior leadership 

  • Manage the sales forecast, prospecting activities and pipeline maximization

  • Work in a strategic partner capacity to connect with targeted accounts

  • Track market trends and developments in the healthcare industry sectors served

  • Continuously build a pipeline while leveraging existing client relationships and networks

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience and success working in payer sales

  • Strong understanding of how to manage complex and long sales cycles

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Deep knowledge of payer sales and operations 

  • Proven sales track record with history of meeting and exceeding quotas

  • Relationship building skills with a strong focus on a high level of customer satisfaction 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
